Se conoció que el presidente de los Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, firmó una orden ejecutiva que retira a su país de 66 organizaciones multilaterales, varias de ellas (31) vinculadas a Naciones Unidas.
La Casa Blanca explicó que el retiro se debe a que estas instituciones “operan de manera contraria a los intereses nacionales, la seguridad, la prosperidad económica o la soberanía de Estados Unidos”, además de ser consideradas “inútiles”, “derrochadoras” o promotoras de agendas globalistas que no se alinean con las prioridades de Washington.
